Outside In Art

Ianthe is the art teacher you wish you had. In both kids’ and adult classes, she’s inventive, warm, supportive, funny. She listens to her students and shapes her teaching to fit what they need. I’ve been sketching off and on for years but knew I needed to learn fundamental skills. I worried any class would be too challenging or discouraging, especially considering the physical limitations I have from a chronic illness. With Ianthe, I’m learning so much and having fun doing it. Thanks to Ianthe, I'm beginning to "see" more like an artist, to break down the visual information I observe so that I can draw it more accurately.
